November 8th - Ensenada

Beautiful day. David and Kevin took the boat over to the other marina to fuel up. Cindy and I went to Costco for some steaks and snacks. Met back up at our marina and played some cribbage. A big cruise

Our cruise ship view. You can see fog behind it. A little later, the fog was so thick we couldn't even see the ship!

Cindy making a delicious salad to go with our salmon, mashed potatoes and asparagus.

Ensenada party

November 8th - We stayed at Cruiseport Village Marina. A bus came to pick us up with all the other boaters staying here and took us to Marina Coral where the rest of the Fubar boaters were staying. Had a big tent set up outside with a full bar. Served us dinner which was a small salad, rice with a couple of chunks of fish or chicken (if you were lucky), and Flan for dessert. Not enough outdoor heaters though, we were freezing with the cold, damp wind blowing on us. We grabbed a cab back to the boat after dinner so we could get warmed up.

Let the party begin

November 7, FUBAR begins!

Left the dock this morning at 6:35. It's a beautiful morning with clear blue skies and no wind. I'm writing this and posting early as I need to turn off my data roaming. We're so excited to be on our way to La Paz. This has been a dream of ours for a couple of years now and it's finally here! We have the Tango and Viber aps on or phones, which is supposed to allow international phone calls and texts at no charge. Send us messages and stay in touch. We will miss you all very much!

November 3 - Left the desert, now in San Diego

Had a nice couple of days in the desert. Really enjoyed the sunny, warm days and cool nights. David tried out his new wetsuit in our pool. Had a great dinner last night at the official season opening of our club at Motorcoach Country Club. Today, we closed our place up, took my car to storage, made a trip to Costco and bought 5 cases of beer and a case of wine and made it back to the JB here at Cabrillo Isles Marina by 5. Cocktail time now and a free UFC fight tonight on FOX.

David, slipping into our pool to try out his new wetsuit.

He floats!

Going to miss our pool :-(

Really going to miss our cozy place at MCC!

Beautiful sunset tonight, the last one for daylight savings time.

October 28 - Getting Ready

Hi everyone! We are getting ready for the next leg of our adventure. I have started a new blog to keep you up to date on our travels to La Paz and beyond. The website for the new blog is Janabananatolapaz.blogspot.com

Hope you will follow us on the new site and send us comments on the blog or through Facebook, Instagram, emails or texts. Being out of the USA, we may not be able to post as often as we don't want to rack up international roaming charges. We will post as wifi is available and as we learn how to navigate Mexican communications. We can also be reached through free apps such as Viber and KIK. The blog is set up now and our trip starts with us leaving San Diego on Nov. 7th and arriving in La Paz on Nov 19th. We are traveling with the FUBAR rally, a group of 40+ cruisers. This should be a blast and we are excited for this trip.

New Hobie Peddle Kayaks.
