We washed the boat ourselves today. This is the first place where nobody approached us to take care of washing the boat for us. Oh we'll, we save $700 pesos. Got our paperwork together and went to see the Harbormaster again. Then we got a water taxi and checked in the the Port Captains office. Came back and gave a stamped copy of the paper work to the Harbormaster.
Gina, in the office, made this sign for us out of a seed pod.
After lunch, we walked up to the little mall and I made an appointment to get my hair cut and highlighted tomorrow. It's been almost three months. Getting a pedicure at the same time. Sad for me, after 25 years of having acrylic nails, I have no more. Just too hard to find people that know how to do it right. David purchased $300 pesos of time for his Mexican phone at the grocery store here. Convenient to have a grocery store here but not as good as the Mega.
Went to one of the pools for a while and enjoyed some sun and a couple of cervesas.
Rows of palapa's line the beach too.
There is a tiger here too. Poor thing, so hot with that coat!
All kinds of colorful parrots too.
Julie invited me to come over to Infinity at 6 for a girls wine happy hour. Very fun group of ladies. We sat up on the bridge, drank, snacked, laughed and visited for 1-1/2 hours. Had a great time. Came back to the JB and David and I made a spicy penne pasta dinner with the Italian sausage we bought at the market on Sunday. It was delicious.
