New Years Eve - Barra de Navidad

Raining again today, this is day 6 of rain. There is a beautiful sunrise for the first time in a while.

Nice sunrise for a change

It's up!

Grayson got invited to go fishing on board the 127' Ceilo Mare this morning. He is so lucky!

The Ceilo Mare was built in Port Townsend Washington and is the 3rd largest sport fisher in the world. She has over 50 fishing pole holders and is very luxurious inside.

Took the water taxi to Barra, then cabbed to Melaque. Went to the bank, then had some fish tacos. Delicious.

One of the main streets oin Melaque, we walked to the market after lunch and got some fresh produce and came back.

On the way back to the boat, the water taxi noticed a man and a woman in the lagoon that looked like they were in trouble. They were stuck, they had stepped on some kind of sea urchin-like creature that cut up their feet and left these poky things in their feet. They were bleeding. David had to help another guy pull them into the panga. Meanwhile it was pouring rain and we got soaked.

Grayson came back with a 250 pound Blue Marlin! Went to My Susy for cocktails and aps and then had a delicious dinner on Family Time. Jenny made Rack of Lamb. We celebrated Graham's 15th birthday too. He shared his chocolate birthday cake with us. We had a dance party extravaganza after dinner. Finished off 2013 and welcomed 2014 with a fireworks show.

Fireworks being set off right here on Isla Navidad
