Did not walk today. We decided to get the kayaks down and go for a little cruise in them instead.
Kayak'd in Bahia Bandaras for about an hour and a half
Good way to get some exercise and work on my tan at the same time. By the time we got back to the boat, our legs were pretty shaky, it was hard for me to get out of the kayak, lol.
So this little lady walks around the entire marina every day, checking all the garbages for cans and recyclables. We can hear her coming as she pulls a cart that squeaks as she pulls it behind her. We have been separating our stuff and putting it in bags for her. I noticed this morning when I brought up a new bag for her that she had saved the last bag I put out for her. They were good quality bags and colorful that we got from the Hawaiian market in Melaque. She speaks no English but she always blesses us in Spanish and points up to God. Last night when we were having cocktails, she was in the trash area, doing her thing when all of a sudden she leans back and puts this hat on her head! She was so excited. David and I were just delighted at how happy she was. Then she had to show it off to all the guards. Bless her heart, she is a beautiful person. I will try to get a better picture of her in another post.
After lunch, we went for a dinghy ride around the bay next to Bucerias. Lots of resorts and they are mostly empty.
This little panga named Tormenta will have tormented owners when they return to a pelican poop boat!
I like the color of this place
While we were cruising here, we could see whales jumping and splashing out in front of PV, didn't want to run that far to see them up close. We could see more whale action from our bridge during cocktail time. Maybe we'll see if we can get closer maƱana.
This was Bryan Savage, he plays the Sax and Flute every Thursday at Oso's. He was really good!
