Heading back to La Cruz. Enjoyed our 10 day holiday stay. Yesterday we had some of the darkest skies and loudest thunder yet. Amazing today, we wake up to clear blue skies after 7 days of rain. David checked out with the Port Captain in town and then we walked to the hotel to check out and use the money machine one las time! then checked out with the Harbormaster. Today we split ways with our friends on Family Time. We both headed to the fuel dock around 11:30. As we were filling up, their diesel stopped working. By the time they got it going again it was about 1:30. Of course, their machine wouldn't read our debit card so we had to pay them by cash. Said our goodbyes and lots of good hugs and kisses with the Rohlands and we are on our way. So sad.
Pulled into Bahia Chemela around 6:00.
All anchored up for the evening. Jenny gave me a chunk of Dorado (Mahi Mahi) that Grayson bought from a local fisherman a day ago. She also gave me some Macadamia nuts so I made Macadamia Nut crusted fish for dinner and it was delicious. Went to bed at 9:00 so we can get up at 4:30 to get back up to La Cruz.
