I have had a sore throat for several days now. More annoying than anything but this morning it's horrible! I can hardly swallow. We are going to go to a walk in clinic and see if they can do a culture to see if I have strept. The clinic called a doctor and he spoke to me on the phone. He will meet me at the clinic at 2 this afternoon. Went to Walmart and picked up a few things and some fresh produce for dinner.
Went back to the clinic at 2. The Dr. Had an emergency with a boy and a fracture so another Dr. is on his way. Hector came at 2:30. He didn't do a throat culture but he thinks I have strept throat. Gave me a big shot of antibiotics in the butt and sent me home with 7 days of oral antibiotics, some non narcotic pain meds and some cough medicine. I should be feeling better by tomorrow. Thank goodness.
Stayed home at the condo and grilled a steak. Watched Elysium with Matt Damon and Jodi Foster. Just okay.
