Got up and finished packing. Moving out of Villa Amor del Mar to our new home while on the hard. We are moving to La Joya Condo #108. It's just two blocks up the hill from the beach. The Condo is on the first floor of the four story unit. Our deck opens right out to the pool which is nice but we don't have any ocean view which is what we love.
Lisa is flying home today. All good things must come to an end and we have really enjoyed having her here with us. One week just flew by!
Such a fun time with you here in La Cruz.
We'll miss cooking in the kitchen and creating fabulous dinners with you. Love you Lisa! Thank you for coming!
Went to Ana Bananas for breakfast after we picked up our final load. We were going to go on one last little dinghy ride with Lisa but we discovered that the one and only dinghy key was missing. Oh crap! Now what?! We turned everything inside out, nothing. Then David went to the Marina office to see if anyone had found it but NO. He went to the La Cruz shipyard where the JB is and Alejandro knows a locksmith that can come today and make a key. When we got back from the airport there were two guys in the dinghy banging and beating to make a perfect new key for the dinghy. On site, same day service and only $350 pesos, about $30 USA. It was priceless to us. He said bring the key to his shop in Bucerias and he will make another one for free. Always good to have a spare, right? I dropped a key in the water to the back door of the JB a couple of months ago, think we better see if he can make a duplicate of the one and only key we have left.
Came home and had a relaxing evening in. Sat out on our deck and sipped on our wine and beer.
The pool at our condo. Had a nice dinner and watched some TV afterward. Watched Will Farrell in Blades of Glory English language with Spanish subtitles. Hilarious and helps with our Spanish to see the subtitles.
