February 10th - Paradise Village Nuevo Vallarta to Punta Mita Anchorage

Today, after three weeks, we are leaving Paradise. It's been a fun place with a lot of convenience and comforts but we are ready to get out and do some boating!

We cruised out NW in the bay at trolling speed. We are fishing 4 poles. Here we are trolling past one of the Tres Marietas. Marietas West.

Water is nice and smooth today.

A lot of whale action. They should be active here until the end of March.

We trolled and fished around the Marietas and back to Punta Mita.

Skipper David securing the bridal for the anchor.

It's only 2:30 so we both jumped in the water and splashed around. Water is 80 degrees. Here David is getting ready to look at the bottom of JB.

Look at the size of those flippers!

The inspection begins. Bottom paint is holding up well. The rudders and the props have a build up of barnacles though. Will have Adrian dive and clean them off when we get back to La Cruz.

So nice to be outside in the ocean at anchor so we can see the beautiful sunset and view.

Here are thousands of fish attacking and eating smaller fish. They are all attracted to our blue under water lights. I made almond crusted chicken, roasted beets with garlic and a salad for dinner. We watched Internal Affairs a 1990 movie with Richard Gere, Andy Garcia and William Baldwin. We liked it.
