February 16th - La Cruz Villa Amor del Mar

Our beautiful view and sunrise this morning. Cindy and Chris invited us for breakfast on the patio this morning. We had Mexican coffee, juice, omlettes, bacon, chorizo sausage and refried beans. Very delicious and fun conversation with them and 2 other couples that are staying here.

After breakfast, we walked the short distance from Casa Amor to the Sunday Farmers Market. Today, we skipped our favorite sandwich, too full from breakfast. We bought the last jalapeƱo bread and 3 chipotle tomato breads, a dress, smoked Gouda cheese, basil, tomatoes, big nice shrimps, garlic, macadamia nuts and cucumbers.

Back to Casa Amor, it's the blue house with the hearts on it.

A couple of kayaks for guests to use. They also have a couple of stand up paddle boards.

Infinity pool, Cindy and Chris's residence on the bottom floor and 3 of the 5 guest suites above their place. There are 2 more on the street side of the property. They all have huge decks with ocean views except one on the street side.

Had some relaxing pool time, now relaxing cocktail time. How much relaxing can we do? We did get one quote today from Seatek for starting repairs to JB. We met the Harbormaster of La Cruz here at the Villa Amor this morning. He and his beautiful wife Abrie stayed here last night for a get a way. He has another contractor that he wants us to get a quote from, that makes three.

It's so cool how Mexican families spend so much time together. These guys carried their cooler down and are sitting on the beach enjoying the sunset just like we are.

No clouds so just our typical sunset, love it. We had another nice dinner at home, shrimp from the market, asparagus and salad.

After dinner we sat in the living room, listening to music. We love these cool lights hanging from the high ceiling. If you blow the picture up you'll see our friend the Gecko. He likes the lights too. We wound up having Pat and David, guests here and Cindy and Chris over for a couple of glasses of wine. We had made a list of some things that would be nice to have in the house and they had gone shopping so it was like Christmas! They brought over all kinds of new fun stuff.
