February 18th - La Cruz Villa Amor del Mar

Went to the shipyard this morning. Shafts and propellers were pulled and sent off to the machine shop to verify whether or not the shafts are bent. I loaded up three more bags of stuff to bring back to Casa Amor. Did a couple loads of laundry and we made a trip to Bucerias to the Mega store and picked up some groceries.

Sat out and enjoyed the sunset and cocktails before going out.

Cindy and Chris took us to Britannia here in La Cruz. It's an Engish style pub with great food. We had the fish and chips. Very good.

Tonight is "open mike" night. Mike, the guy in orange facilitates the musicians. He invites them up to jam and the music that they make is great.

Chris and another local singing a couple of songs. Everyone was on the dance floor, so fun.

The owners of Britannia had a birthday celebration for Leon. Leon is 82, he'll be 83 on Saturday. He plays the washboards, complete with symbols and horn. He is good! They served birthday cake to everyone and here they were launching a balloon with candle into the sky.

Leon dancing with his wife, she plays the bass guitar.

Thanks for another fun evening of food, drink, dancing and great people. Chris, Randall and Cindy.
